With experience in development, financial analysis, and law, Oak Edge Capital is uniquely positioned to evaluate real estate matters from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives.

Eric D. Kasenetz, Esq., MPS

Principal

Prior to founding Oak Edge Capital, Eric served as Vice President at a private real estate fund during the company's startup phase, and before that practiced law for almost five years in New York City at a top national firm.

At Walnut Street Finance, LLC, Eric was involved in the management of all aspects of the company's commercial real estate lending and investment management platforms, including fund formation, originations, underwriting, due diligence, portfolio and risk assessment, legal, and operations.

At Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York, Eric represented clients across a variety of real estate, private equity, commercial lending, and finance matters while in the preeminent Business Finance & Restructuring Group. He was instrumental in effectuating key stages of asset management strategies and transactions and served as the lead associate on several multi-billion-dollar projects. During his time at Weil, Eric was a member of the firm’s principal team representing and navigating the unwind of the $650 billion Lehman Brothers enterprise, which constituted the largest, most complex chapter 11 cases in history.
